The brief
Coastal Care provides premium, eco-conscious villa cleaning and concierge services across Mauritius: end-of-construction cleans, deep cleans, weekly maintenance and full conciergerie for villa owners, holiday-rental hosts and property managers.
The team works from the road, not from a back office. A classic contact form feeding an unwatched inbox would have leaked leads; requests had to arrive on WhatsApp, where the team actually answers, without giving up a written email trail.
The approach
- Designed a bilingual (EN/FR) site around the services villa owners actually search for, with a booking modal reachable from the hero, the mobile bottom bar and a floating pill.
- Built a dual hand-off: submitting the booking form opens a prefilled WhatsApp conversation and fires the same request by email through a Cloudflare Worker, so no lead rests on a single channel.
- Set up the client's own email stack, with professional mailboxes on their domain, routed to the inbox they already read and sending through their own account.
- Shipped with the full trust layer: privacy policy aligned with the Mauritius Data Protection Act, strict security headers, local-business structured data and analytics.
Outcomes
- Live on coastalcare.mu in English and French, on the client's own domain.
- Every booking request arrives twice, as a WhatsApp chat and as an email, with no dashboard for the team to learn.
- The client owns the entire stack: domain, mailboxes and sending account.
